64 Ways in 64 Days
Daily Commitments to Live By

The following principles of nonviolence were adapted by the Colorado Springs / Pikes Peak Area Task Force for A Season For Nonviolence, January 30 - April 4, 2004:

·  Acceptance

·  Kindness

·  Humanity

·  Forgiveness

·  Patience

·  Respect

·  Joy

·  Compassion

·  Service

The booklet 64 Ways in 64 Days - Daily Commitments to Live By offers a daily guide to observing these principles. Each week of the Season of Nonviolence is dedicated to one of the principles and offers daily affirmations to deepen one's practice of living a nonviolent life.

A Season for Nonviolence
January 30 - April 4, is a national 64-day educational, media, and grassroots campaign dedicated to demonstrating that nonviolence is a powerful way to heal, transform, and empower our lives and our communities.

Inspired by the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this international event honors their vision for an empowered, nonviolent world.
