~~~~~~~~~~ Pattie's Note ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am getting very excited as the Carry the Vision Conference approaches. It's going to be a rich, full day. We have some late-breaking opportunities to let you know about, in the hopes that some of you leaders feel moved to make the most of them
First, Devin Sodt from the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment has agreed to organize a candle-light greeting for the Living Legends when their train arrives into town Thursday night.
With the events of this week, how important to take our grief to a place where it can meet hope.
And we want to send a message to those who have given their lives to finding nonviolent solutions to violence, "San Jose welcomes you and appreciates what you are doing."
The gathering will be at the San Jose Diridon Station, 65 Cahill Street, SJ, 95110 at 8:00 pm on Thursday, 4/19.
Here are the ways you can participate:
1) Show up and bring your friends.
2) Help us get the word out to other groups who might be interested.
3) Help make banners and posters that can be used to greet the Living Legends.
If you are planning on attending, have questions, or want to help, please contact Devin at devin@csecenter.org or 408-761-6596.
Thank you for the stand that you are taking for creating a nonviolent future for our world.
peace and all good,
Pattie Cortese
