Our ninth conference will convene over 400 people from diverse backgrounds who are interested in the power of compassion to create positive change and a new way of living.

Fr. Greg Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries and best selling author of Tattoos on the Heart:The Power of Boundless Compassion will be the keynote speaker.

Ela Gandhi

The International Day of Nonviolence, October 2, is the anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. Gandhi's life has been an inspiration for nonviolence activists for civil rights and social change including Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar Chavez. We are sharing this greeting from Ela Gandhi, granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, who carries on his nonviolent education work in South Africa.
